The sequence
- Property & site analysis — zoning, setbacks, access, suitability.
- Permitting — building permits and approvals for the jurisdiction.
- Land clearing & grading — prepare the build area.
- Foundation or pad — sized to the unit.
- Septic — system designed and installed to code.
- Water & power — tie-in or well, plus electrical; solar where it makes sense.
- Delivery & set — transport, crane or trailer placement.
- Final connections & inspection — utilities hooked up, signed off, ready to live.
