FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is Experience Tiny Homes?

Experience Tiny Homes is a curated tiny, modular and glamping home gallery serving Austin and the Texas Hill Country. We bring together the best models from top U.S. and global manufacturers in one place so you can walk through them in person — and we handle the full ground-up process, from land and permitting to utilities and installation.

Can I tour the homes in person?

Yes — that's the whole idea. We're standing up a preview center where you can walk through, touch and compare real units. In the meantime we showcase select units by appointment. Reach out and we'll arrange a viewing.

Do you only sell the home, or handle the whole project?

The whole project. Beyond the unit itself, we handle property and site analysis, permitting, land clearing, septic, solar, financing, delivery and installation — coordinated by one team, from the ground up.

How much do your tiny and modular homes cost?

Park-model cabins start around $121,300–$133,200 for the unit; modular pods, expandable units and glass domes are quoted by configuration and site. Total project cost also depends on land work, utilities and permitting. We give you a clear, itemized quote for your specific situation.

Where do you serve?

Our hub is the Dripping Springs / 78737 corridor southwest of Austin, and we serve the greater Austin metro and the Texas Hill Country — including Wimberley, San Marcos, New Braunfels, Fredericksburg, Spicewood, Marble Falls and more.

Are these homes legal to live in full-time?

It depends on the unit type and your jurisdiction. Park models, modular units and ADUs each have different rules for full-time occupancy. Our property analysis tells you exactly what your land allows before you buy — so there are no surprises.

How long does it take to get a home installed?

Factory-built units are dramatically faster than conventional construction — many install in days once the site is ready. The bigger variable is site work and permitting, which we manage and schedule alongside the unit's lead time.

Can I use one as a short-term rental or ADU?

Absolutely — those are two of the most popular uses. We help match a model to your goal and confirm what your jurisdiction permits, then deliver it ready to host or occupy.
